Hey guys, what's that number in front of UCLA mean?

College Gameday is in Knoxville this week! Finally a Tennessee/Florida game that's meaningful - the winner of this game has a very realistic shot at contending in the East.

I really like Tennessee's chances. It'll be tough to pull out a win, but I think Florida is going to struggle to contain the Hunter/Patterson/Rivera group. Defensively, I think the best strategy will be to blitz Driskell heavily and hope to confuse/pressure him into mistakes. We're probably going to give up a couple big plays on blown coverages, but hopefully we can limit them and make up for the ones we do make by creating some turnovers. Hopefully the stadium will be packed out to and loud to add to Driskell's confusion.

Supposed to be a record-breaking 105 in Pasadena today. Might still be pushing 100 at game time for the UCLA game this evening. Yeesh.

Side note: Thank goodness for AC.

Justin Hunter is electric. I really like his game.

Alabama might never lose again.

Not going to happen this year. Probably not going to happen next year with McCarron and some good RBs coming back. Maybe 2014 if Bama just completely stops recruiting people.

Wow this thread was dead today.

Anyways, USC goes down, should we just hand the crown to Alabama right now, or do we have to watch Alabama and LSU 2 more times this year?

Root for Oregon.

Haha, that was awesome.

Maybe Barkley should come back for another season and lose to Stanford again. Love seeing him get hit time after time.

Also, screw the Pac-12 Network/DirecTV feud.

ABC just showed these numbers about the Big 10:

-4-17 vs. non-conference top 10 opponents since 2006 Bowl Games

-1-8 in last 9 Rose Bowl appearances

-15 of 26 wins this season have come vs. FCS or MAC opponents

-4-8 vs. BCS AQ opponents this season (3 wins by Northwestern and the 4th was Ohio State barely getting by a below average Cal team at home)

Oddly enough, the last ND team to not give up a TD to a BCS-AQ school in a game was the train-wreck 2007 team.
