Holy [expletive] was that a terrible AB by LaHair

At this point, what's the difference between giving Jackson a shot and watching LaHair fail miserably. At least Jackson would provide better defense and speed when he does reach base.

Also, I've seen enough of Clevenger as well. Send him down and bring up Castillo to platoon with Soto. Since he came back from the DL, he is hitting under .200 with an OBP just above .200 with virtually no extra base hit power.

Yeah, Clevenger is basically Koyie Hill at this point. Bring back Henry Blanco.

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of Cubs games take the same form? Especially at Wrigley.

DeJesus almost ALWAYS leads off the bottom of the 1st with a hit and the Cubs get a few runs early and then basically stop scoring.

Kind of strange.

Did we just try a hit and run with Rizzo at 1st and LaHair at the plate?

BECAUSE THAT'S A REALLY BAD IDEA WITH SOMEONE AS SLOW AS RIZZO WITH AS MUCH AS LAHAIR SWINGS AND MISSES

Even on a sliding play, it's not often you see a major leaguer just miss a ball they can easily reach.

Gotta love the [expletive] in a Cubs shirt who caught that home run and threw it back, then high-fived all his friends in celebration, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the Cardinals just tied the game.
