According to this article the Yakima Bears (NWL) is moving to Hillsboro and another team is in talks to move to Milwaukie. Both are suburbs of Portland, Or. This could mean that I would have two more opportuniyies to see the Hawks. Or maybe the team currently in negotiations to move to Milwaukie is the Hawks franchise (although I doubt it).

This probably doesn't mean much to most of the posters on this site, but it is good news for me. :D

I haven't been paying much attention to it but there are certainly some stadium reconstruction/new stadium issues in Boise.

Didn't Ricketts make some damning comments about the facilities during his tour before (after) he fired Hendry?

Lake with another HR.

I think hat team needs to change its scouting report.

McNutt with 2 scoreless and hitless out of the pen with 3 Ks. Also, Rhee wasn't quite as bad as CT made out - his 5th inning sunk his game though (5 IP, 9 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 4 K, 6-1 GO-FO).

Roster move for Wednesday. Hawks add 12th Rd pick Justin Amlung from Mesa Cubs (Louisville)

i know szczur isn't the most popular prospect because his power hasn't shown up in games, but he's leading the FSL in stolen bases and is second in OBP (among qualified batters).

Maples should be getting in game action rather soon, right? Any update?

iirc, he said he'd be pitching in games in july. not a good sign

I am pretty sure that's true but I also think he said late July so hopefully he makes an appearance soon.
