Koyie Hill is the Jason Voorhees of shitty catchers.

I'd like to believe that he's really gone for good this time, but I can't...

CHICAGO – Catcher Koyie Hill did not accept his outright to Triple-A Iowa and has become a free agent.

Hill was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds on May 19 for cash considerations after Steve Clevenger, Welington Castillo and Geovany Soto all were injured. He played in 11 games batting .179 (11-for-39) with an RBI and three runs scored.

Hill was playing at Double-A Pensacola in the Reds system before he was acquired.

The Nationals signed Hill to a minor league deal. Lending hope for us trading for him twice in the same year.

Also to DFA him twice in the same year.

And it won't be the last. If the Cubs are Mr. Burns, Koyie Hill's Bobo.

The Neifster had an amazing game winning home run at Busch that should automatically eliminate him from worst ever discussion.

Koyie's highlight is sawing several fingers off his hand.

Historically bad trumps unremarkably bad.

that season was with the Giants, I believe. err, royals.

The one year Neifi played a full season with the Cubs as a regular he had 2.1 bWAR

Hill did have 1,430 at bats as a Cub compared to Neifi's 922.

Hill's were spread out over 6 years compared to Neifi's 3, but that's still a lot of at bats for Hill and every single one of them were terrible.
