Is there anywhere to find his playoff homer? That's one of my favorite sports moments ever.

I'm glad he was able to end on a strikeout, but I will really miss watching him pitch.

If he's 39 years old, hasn't pitched in five years, and wants to be added to the World Series roster during Soler's MVP season, I'm okay with that.

The interesting thing to me about Kerry retiring is that he doesn't appear to have lost his stuff, and he's not so old that he can't still be good for a few more years (see Dempster). The only thing is that he was walking guys a lot this season, but that might not have been the case over the long haul.

There has to be something going on that we don't know about. My guess is he has been dealing with a lot more arm/shoulder pain than he is willing to let on.
