I mean, Amaro and Stewart are probably worse, but come on.

B2B and SSR might have to find a new team

I was a Cub fan long before Hendry, so that ain't happening.

Before the Cubs/Perfect Strangers, someone did a Pirates/Family Matters mashup:

Love the Polanco shot, and the sweet celebrity cameo at the end.

And I watched the Cubs one at work without sound, and the FM theme was the one I had in my head as opposed to whatever the [expletive] the PS one turned out to be. That FM theme basically works with every 90's sitcom.

this is very random, but since we all probably watched a lot of WGN in the 90s, do you guys remember when WGN was running full house in syndication, and they made a promo of it to that "our house" song when they started running back to back episodes (for an hour)

it went something like "hour house...in the middle of the day...hour house...blah blah blah...that's two michelle's and two DJ's"

Yep, and he's tweeting at the local talk radio and they're lapping it up. Guh.

That anyone on NSBB would spend time listening to local talk radio? Yes.

Oh get off your high horse. And I'm strictly talking about twitter here. I have no idea what was/wasn't said on the radio.

If Ryan [expletive] Theriot inexplicably becomes basically the only Cub besides Wood (and sorta Maddux) from the last 15 years or so that they've welcomed back....

There will be vomit.

The Mets are 31-5 against the worst four teams in the NL (Philly, Miami, Cincy, Colorado).

The other NL contenders for comparison's sake:

Cards: 22-10

Pirates: 16-12

Cubs: 16-12

Dodgers: 24-9

Giants: 15-14

They're 10-23 vs the 5 contenders you mentioned though, and 0-13 vs the Cubs and Pirates.

Cubs 0-7

Pirates 0-6

Cards 3-4

3-3 GIants

4-3 dodgers

For all the justified talk about St. Louis' LOB% (which is actually down slightly from 2 weeks ago, from 81.5 to 80.4, though that would still be an MLB record), I didn't realize second place in that stat - distantly - is Pittsburgh. The Cubs are 12th.
