So you're closet booers.

There's a difference between being a moron in public and a moron in the private of your own home. Booing a guy after 2 pitches is really [expletive] stupid.

It's a group mentality thing, mostly alchahol fueled. I'm sure that alchahols caused most of us to do things worse than booing.

Addtionally, it wasn't just 2 pitches. It was the fact that he's cost us multiple games already due to poor control. I assure you that James Russell would not get booed after throwing 2 balls.

FWIW, I haven't played a single pitch of real organized baseball in my life. Wish I had. Parents never let me.

Closest thing to playing baseball I've ever done is some softball in PE class and playing catch throughout my life. Oh, and driveway wiffleball with the kids down the street all summer.

Why wouldnt your parents let you play baseball?

Direct correlation. More playing the game = more meatbally.

Huh, of the people I know that boo the most, the most sporty thing they did was a couple years of cross country. And two of them are lawyers, another just finished his MBA and a couple others are relatively upstanding citizens. Of the people who went so far as to play something in college or the minors, probably half of them aren't even active fans of any team anymore, and the rest are not the booing type. There is some crossover of booing and people who did multiple sports in high school. Being meatbally in general is a little less correlated. Some of the people who boo have more modern thoughts about the game while others who hold every conventional wisdom type belief aren't booers.

Commies?

I know plenty of people who weren't allowed to play football, but I can't think of anybody who weren't allowed to play baseball.

Too busy I guess. I don't really know. I don't mean it to sound like it was a big deal to me growing up. I just remember being like 8 and wanting to play and getting shot down.

I would've sucked anyway. Was always the small kid and my hand eye coordination sucked. They saved me from embarrassment.

except if you're at home.

Where did someone say they boo at home?

That's really weird. Even weirder than booing at the game.

You did.

Show me where.

It's only three pages. You can find it.

I can't, actually. It never happened.

But I'm pretty sure you know this, since you don't do anything on here but troll.

You drop f-bombs at home, but not boo. Sorry didn't know they weren't in the same category. My apologizes.

Lay off C.C., man. His parents didn't recognize his limitations and hold him out of reading classes.

That didn't stop Ryan Theriot.

They boo at every stadium in baseball. I'm not saying it's deserved but it's going to happen. Guys like Soriano, Zambrano, and Marmol would be booed at every stadium when they're not performing up to expectations. It happens.

I see nothing wrong with booing in the instance of a pitcher consistently walking multiple batters & throwing wild pitches over the course of months. Honestly, I wanted to yell about the decision to even put Marmol in that spot last night.

Sometimes it's fun to boo, I boo the play calling at Bears games constantly. It pisses me off and I want to yell, it's more fun.

I don't get the people who have such itchy booing trigger fingers, but I really don't get why people get so riled up against those people. Sports fans boo their players when they do poorly. They do it everywhere. It's a fact of life. There's nothing to see here.

I have itchy idiot fingers

mmhmmm
