2008 seems like 20 years ago with regards to Geo. Very little value at all before the injury.

I do not think Wood should have his number retired. If you look at all of the Cubs who have retired numbers, they all happen to be in the HOF. As most of us said, he is one of our favorite Cubs and he'll be missed. However, I do not feel Kerry has done enough to warrant having his number hanging from the pole.

Really wanted Woody to be part of the team that won it all for us. That said, absolutely one of my favorite Cubs. He did whatever was asked of him and could have been a hall of famer if not for all of the arm issues.
