The Mariners pitchers and catchers officially reported yesterday so baseball has officially begun. What's weird is that no other team reports for an entire week. Are the Mariners playing any international exhibition that I am not aware of?

I think they just suck so much that they figured an extra week of practice over the league wouldn't hurt.

Mariners and A's open the season March 28-29 at the Tokyo Dome. It is about 1 week before the season starts for everyone else.
