That is a great idea. To play 19 seasons in Wrigley's cold & wind and put up those numbers and have that positive attitude; it takes a tough person with true dedication to the game. R.I.P.
If the Cubs hire Girardi we're in for a hell of a next 10 years of NL baseball. It would be a huge depressing letdown if you don't bag him. Lot of people are stoked for this.
There's so many "cookie cutter" announcers out there now; it's refreshing to hear someone just call it like it is; Santo was one of those guys. Not many left anymore.
