New England's defense is bad. I wouldn't be shocked if Denver makes a game of it next week.

I think they'll make a game of it in the same way that they made a game of it the first time around. NE isn't going to blow them out, but I don't think it will be a close game either.

Also, it's really going to suck having to root for New England next week. I'm not going to like it at all, but it's for the greater good.

Regardless, go Ravens/Texans in the AFC title game.

beating a team with a hobbled quarterback missing a third of its defense doesn't make them a better team.

LOLOL your argument is that a defense playing with five pro bowlers (two defensive players of the year) couldn't contain Tebow because they were without their nose tackle and Brett Keisel for some of the game

LOLOL what are you talking about? I said that it doesn't make them the better team.

And umm, Brett Keisel is an insignificant player?

I think it'll be close simply because New England's defense isn't very good. At the same time, I don't see how Belichick could possibly concoct a worse approach defensively than what the Steelers did.

Without having really watched much of Tebow's post game comments, does he really thank Jesus that many times usually? He was starting to sound like Ricky Bobby. I was starting to wonder if he had an endorsement contract with Jesusbrand or something. I get celebrating his religion and I for one kind of respect the fact that he's willing to take any criticism that comes with it (even though I'm not really a Christian), but it really felt like more of an act that anything. It seems like he's taking advantage of the attention he's getting because of it and that to me is pretty annoying.

I dunno, it's hard for me to understand how people can still get annoyed at the religious stuff. Tebow has been in the spotlight for five years now and his faith has been in our faces the entire time. It does seem over-the-top, but at this point I hardly notice, except when he's praying to God on the sidelines about the outcome of a football game.

So because he's done the same thing for that long means we can't get annoyed by it? Nonsense.

It makes it a hell of a lot more likely(combined with his upbringing and missionary trips) that he's not putting on an act.

I think I worded that wrong. I don't think he's putting on a complete act. The guy is clearly engrained in his beliefs. More like he's playing into it a bit. I think he clearly understands that he is benefiting from expressing his religious beleifs and is taking advantage of it a bit.

He was asked what was running through his mind on the game winning catch and he responded, "Well first of all, thank the lord. Then ...[talked about celebrating with teammates, etc]". That just seems like a forced reaction to me.

Yeah, I wasn't really meaning to justify scarey's post. Just that I don't think it's unreasonable to be annoyed by Tebow....regardless of how "used to it" we are.

While it's annoying to see Denver advance, it's hardly surprising given the crappy status of the AFC, and it is enjoyable to see the crybaby Steelers fans lose. I already chose to cheer for New England once this year so that won't be happening again. At least I can enjoy somebody losing next week. And maybe Ray Lewis can kill Tebow the next week, won't be as easy to get away with it this time though.

I can root for NE, since I'm pretty confident that the winner of the NFC will beat whoever they end up facing in the SB.

I understand soccer10k rooting against the Broncos because he's a Raiders fan and hates the Broncos.

Everything else, though, just seems like sour grapes because of a media narrative.

Even if I could root for New England in general -- and I couldn't -- there is not way I want them infesting Indianapolis in a month. So: GO TEBOW (ew ew ew).

I'm guessing GB stands for God Bless, but what is it squared?

I almost got into an argument with a guy about the Broncos/Steelers game. He had posted on facebook:

Tebow threw for 316 yards w/ 10 completions so 31.6 yards per. JOHN Fox Called the play. Tebow's favorite verse? John 3:16. Coincidence? #IfYouDontBelieveNowYouASucker

I replied and said "Unbelievable finish. Doesn't hurt that the Steelers were pretty banged up. Still, a win is a win, especially in the playoffs!"

To which he replied: "Son, get out of here with that "injury" crap. You either show up to play or you don't. The Steelers didn't show up. Period."

I still can't tell if he's just REALLY good at trolling, or just that ignorant. Either way, I didn't take the bait, as tempting as it was.

I think he's calling all his followers square. "God Bless you squares"

I'm pulling for the Broncos or the Texans as underdogs. Plus, if the Packers make the Super Bowl I'd rather them play one of the two worst teams remaining.

I can't wait until Tebow puts up a 66.6 passer rating in a game.
