Oh well. Good season Pacers. They played their 2nd best game of the series tonight, but so did the Heat.

I so wish the Pacers had money. They could easily have the cap space to add a max level player to this current core (such as Deron Williams), but they don't have the revenue to support a player like that. So they'll probably re-sign Hill and Hibbert and try to add a 3rd big and a scoring guard off the bench instead. That will help because their bench was a huge disappointment all year long, but the real key for them is to still have Paul George get stronger and dribble the ball better in order to effectively use his size and athleticism.

Yeah, great season for the Pacers. They accomplished all the goals I had for them (wish they could have avoided Miami until the Conference Finals . . . but that's all injury-related hindsight because of Rose).

The Pacers really need to add a player that can get his own shot of the dribble. That player doesn't even have to be a starter-caliber player.

Also, the Pacers can't lose Hibbert. That would be a massive blow. For a team without superstars, taking away a piece -- especially a skilled 7--foot-2 piece -- would be pretty unrecoverable. I could see them having to overpay him because someone offers him a contract, but I don't see how they can't match. Losing him would likely destroy all the progress they've made.

Im seeing a bunch of "The vastly underappreciated Tim Duncan" "Hes not flashy but hes quietly had a tremendously underrated career..." type of articles out there right now.

Seriously, did anybody watch basketball from 1998-2006? Tim Duncan has been widely considered the greatest power forward in the history of the game for many years now. He was seen as a top 2 or 3 guy in the NBA for at least a decade. People are kinda acting like that period of the NBA never happened. Kinda weird.

I guess this means Chris Webber never even happened?

Yeah... Pacers need a James Harden/Manu Ginobili because their bench is umm.... well... eh. They'll probably get that guy in the draft (or a PG).

I am shocked - shocked - that the Spurs completely manhandled the Thunder in the 4th quarter.

Why? They haven't lost a game in forever.

Nope... 19 game winning streak so far (including playoff). So it's been awhile since the last time they lost.

I don't understand why it would be sarcasm. They've been dominating the entire league since mid-April. And before that, it was another double-digit winning streak. Including a convincing win against the Thunder on their home court.

As UMFan just said, my initial post was sarcasm.

Danny Crawford power tripping like Joey

That was ridiculous.

But you want Ray Allen to keep getting them up because him going 7-10 from 3 is your best chance at stealing game 2 and getting into this series. Miami absolutely zipped up Boston's ball movement yesterday.

I couldn't even make it to the lyrics I hate that song so much

Yeah, I liked it ok enough till it got overplayed, but they do a good job with the lyrics in the parody.
