Nice to see Reggie Miller calling out the Kobe fouls.

I assume those "MVP" chants from Laker fans were directed at Kevin Durant, right?

Not that he expected to come through everytime but after all I've read about Paul being super clutch he looked anything but in the last 2 minutes. A should have been turnover, an actual turnover a wild circus shot that actually went backwards and a missed runner off the front rim were 4 of the last 5 clippers possessions by Paul (the 5th was Paul drawing a foul and hitting 2 FTs)

Oh well I was hoping at least one of these 2 west series would turn out to be interesting.

Hey look, Kobe choked again.

1/9 in the forth quarter with 5 points when it mattered.

Actually, 2-10.

Want to see something sad? 4th quarter shooting by Lakers Big Three -- Game 4.

One of those FG's came at the last second of the game after the outcome was already determined. So really 1/9

They're saying in LA that Bynum and Gasol have to be more assertive and step up so Kobe doesn't have to carry the full load. Probably running with that because that's what Kobe said postgame.

The LA media is such a polar opposite of Chicago media, which seems to like to bring down their stars. Keep protecting the guy who went 2/10 in the 4th and took shots over double teams. And the guy who made 2 costly turnovers late in the blown lead in game 2 (rather than blaming Blake for that loss).

Otis Smith and Stan Van both gone in Orlando

Looks like Dwight got his way, at least on Van Gundy, idk what his feelings are on Smith. But I guess he's glad he's gone as he hasn't seemed to like the type of guys brought in to play around him the last few years.

I'm not exactly sure where Bynum and Gasol are supposed to be asserting themselves when the Lakers decide to run the offense through Kobe on the midpost or clearing out an entire side of the floor for him.

Exactly. It seems nearly uniform in the media and the fans - they lost because Gasol is soft and not assertive and Bynum is immature. Lots of people here want both traded in the offseason.

I completely agree with you. I debate Laker fans daily because they buy into the media bias. Kobe has been downright awful the entire season in terms of FG% and with the attempts. Almost nobody has mentioned how much more efficient their offense would be if he limited his shot attempts and ran the offense through other players specifically Gasol and Bynum.

What people forget too is that if a big man doesn't get his touches, hes likely to regress and fade into the background so when he's needed in the final 2 minutes he won't be able to be relied upon.

LeBron and Wade have taken this game over. The Pacers don't look like they've played offense before.

I attended that game and it was fairly brutal to watch. Especially given that I was in a section that felt like it was 50/50 Miami fans along with a couple Bulls fans cheering for the Heat. :?

That's why reputations shouldn't be built on two minutes.

I can't wait to see how cubbyvirus is going to pin this loss on Kobe.
