Rams fans in full freak out mode over Brockers. Apparently there's only one round in the draft.

what does this mean?

It means they're sad they didn't reach for Kendall Wright.

And that they passed up on DeCastro, ignoring that there is still plenty of chances to add talent.

Never heard of McKellin but sounds like he's Football for Hayden Simpson. Oh good.

So...you know nothing and are just spitballing streams of concsiousness again?

I do know that he was projected to be a 3rd or 4th round pick by pro football weekley.

Initial reactions:

Best pick: Dallas, Mo Claiborne

Worst pick: San Fran, AJ Jenkins

Luckiest team: Pittsburgh, David DeCastro

Luckiest player: Jake Locker - Britt/Wright/Cook/Williams/CJ/Washington is drool worthy

Really didn't like Cleveland's night. Giving up a 4th/5th/7th for a guy you're almost certainly going to get anyway and if you don't then you get an elite receiver (more valuable anyway) and then drafting a 29 year old QB.

He's been flying up draft boards like crazy recently. This is less a Hayden Simpson situation and more of a workout warrior type situation - it's been his offseason drills that have really boosted his stock. I thought it was a big overreach, but somebody was going to make it.

Complete up and down night for Colt McCoy. Get Trent Richardson think your getting Kendall Wright then comes Weeden.

Yeah, heard on Mike and Mike this morning that the Browns are saying they were planning to take Kendall Wright until the Titans took him and then, after that, they decided on Weeden. There's no way the Browns simply changed course in about a 10 minute period and decided to completely alter their football team. And if they did, it was an even dumber night for them than I thought originally.

So the Cowboys never interviewed Claiborne, talked to coaches, brought him in to Dallas, etc. Jerry Jones finally doesn't trust enough to do any research.

Guys I'm hoping the Titans look at in rounds 2 and 3:

Cordy Glenn: No chance he falls to us, but he'd be an incredible value if he did. Would immediately boost the running game.

Peter Konz: Again, no chance he falls to us but he'd be a major coup if he did.

Amini Silatolu: Probably my favorite offensive lineman in the draft. Very raw, but has the tools to become really good on the interior of the line.

Ben Jones: Pure center prospect who doesn't seem to have the upside that others present, but would be an upgrade over Amano and is a true center.

Janoris Jenkins: I may be his biggest fan on this board. Jenkins has incredible natural ability, but his apparent tendency to smoke lots of pot probably make him a player the Titans will stay away from.

Offensive line, defensive line, defensive backfield should be the focus tonight.

Waking up loving that Coples pick. Rex and the FO comparing him to Trevor Pryce/Shaun Ellis and saying he'll put his hand on the ground. Really hoping its kinda just what they're saying and he plays LB instead. Either way great to walk out with the best pass rusher in the draft...

Hoping for Alshon Jeffery and Zac Brown/DeMario Davis today I think...there's others, of course, but for now those would be my targets.

Personally consider that a [expletive] knock in the individual case. People were calling Nicks fat/lazy coming out of UNC, and that turned out to be a lie. UNC the program has a ton more questions than Coples does, IMO.

The guy threw up 18 sacks between two positions his last two years. He threw up 8 last year while being lazy and unmotivated...If I had to bet on a rookie putting up ten sacks it would be Coples, no doubt.

The motivation thing could be bogus, but there was a statistical drop from his junior to senior season. Whether that was a motor issue or whether he was just getting more attention and struggling to fight through it is the question.

That said, his stats his senior year were still really good, hence why I really like the pick. He has immense upside.

100% convinced it's bogus and have for a while. He admitted that he didn't go all out because he wanted to be healthy for the draft. Gave himself a C.

http://www.cfbstats.com/2011/player/457/1017324/index.html

Anyway working with those numbers...he lost 4 total tackles, half a TFL, 5 hurries, and 2.5 sacks, and for guys who didn't walk into the season as a top 5 pick that's a damn good senior year. So basically he produced solid numbers in his sleep...that's the kind of talent we're talking here.

He had something like 4 position coaches in college...the HC was fired before the end of last year...school was being investigated...Just saying, to the careful (or more biased/selective) ear it sounds like UNC is crazier than Coples is. Mind that through a of that he stayed out of actual trouble...Wilkerson the Jets DE/DT is a former teammate of his and called him a better player than him as well as a strong teammate. Fn love this pick...Did not think he'd actually reach 16.

It's that mentality that kind of concerns me. If he's going to shut down somewhat for an entire season in college, he may well do the same in the pros if a team starts out slowly. It's not enough of a concern to pass on him and he was still a terrific pick by the Jets, but there's some concern there.

UNC was definitely a mess throughout his career and that has to be taken into consideration. Honestly, though, the Jets are more than a little bit of a mess themselves too. How long is Rex going to be able to hold this thing together?

Also hoping the Jets land Zac Brown, his teammate, to prepare for Scott leaving...Brown can help cover the TEs in NE. DeMario David would be nice if Brown isn't picked. Hoping for the Other top ten talent turned villain in Jeffery today in round 2.

I like Zach Brown too. Not a big fan of a LB on day 2 for the Titans, but I wouldn't complain if he were our pick.

Forget laziness and everything, I think Ingram is just superior to Coples.

Great college player doesn't necessarily mean great pro, and I have questions about him just like there's questions about Coples. Unlike Coples, those questions are physical. I think NFL OTs will give Ingram some trouble.

What's the quote....Rumors of our demise were greatly exaggerated? The Jets' troubles are more headline fodder than they are real....IMO and no homer. They've made some very smart moves this offseason, but I realize that most won't acknowledge it as such until the team hits the field in September.

What questions might you have about Ingram physically?
