Ugh. Hysterical arbage like insisting they're "completely doomed" is why nobody takes you seriously. There's also nobody here who wouldn't want to see the Bulls make improvements next season. Just stop acting like a spaz and insisting they have zero chance to beat either the Heat or the Thunder.

For the record, which line of thought do you subscribe to? The Bulls have a great chance of beating the Heat? Or the Bulls have a slim chance of beating the Heat?

I've said they have no chance of beating the Heat in a 7 game series as currently constructed.

At the very least, you have to respect that I've made my pick and I'll stand by it.

No, because to say right now they have absolutely no chance to beat another team in a 7 game series is absurd.

It's bold yes, but it's something that I believe. Now answer my question 8-)

No, it's ABSURD. Maybe it's a matter of semantics that you're not understanding, but saying the Bulls have absolutely no chance (as in a 0% probability) of beating the Heat in a 7 game series is just wrong.

You have to rephrase that. Without RIP...they have no chance. With a healthy Rip, I think they can do it. But you have to have a solid 2 guard, playing defense on Wade and making Wade respect his offensive game. That to me is the one thing that can swing the percentages.

the same thing expecting different results (Definition of insanity.)

This is one of my least favorite things that people say on the internet.

Ask yourself how last years team fared.

Then ask yourself what has changed from last seasons team to this seasons team.

When you answer the question, you then form a logical opinion.

A 0% chance of the Bulls beating the Heat is not logical at all.

We beat them pretty bad in one game and then played a slew of pretty close games, a couple of which could have gone either way.

Derrick looked exhausted. Boozer and Noah looked injured/terrible. Korver shot well below his career/season/playoff averages. Asik was out. Bogans got significant minutes. Those things have changed or will hopefully change.

If Derrick is healthy, we have A CHANCE.

Nope, no chance; everything will play out exactly the same.

Why are the Heat and Thunder getting free passes to the finals? Do they get byes this year?

Well the Thunder did beat the Heat and Bulls by double digits AT HOME and Magic Johnson said Westbrook is the best guard in the NBA. Therefore, on that evidence, the Thunder are the best team in the NBA and have reserved a spot in the finals.

I can't believe how much diarrhea can come from someones mouth about one of the best teams in the league. Analyzing so much and believing in their position so much that naysayers are out of touch or whatever the **** you want to call it.

I love this team, the components, the chemistry AND the Derek rose factor that they can win it all and am bought in. I'm having fun and that's why I watch this ish.

I wanna hang out with the dudes that enjoy the process in this thread than the ladies who bitch and become bitches to the moment.

Well a much more efficient offense is one thing.

A more rested Derrick Rose is another.

why are we still supposed to be so scared of the heat? are they really that special? i mean, they're a great team and all, but the bulls are better. i don't get why the heat are always still considered like the universal favorites no matter what is going on with their team. what has been their most convincing win over us?

if rose is healthy and we perform up to expectations, i think the bulls will beat the heat with or without rip.

Not to mention Bosh shot like 60+% for the series--with a lot of jumpers... then followed it up with something like 30% through the first few games of the finals.

the four in the playoffs last year were pretty good

oh you mean the 4 games where the bulls played them evenly until lebron made a bunch of jump shots at the end and rose didn't?

the heat outscored the bulls by a total of 11 points in that series.
