And the Heat aren't that great. I think people got scared of them in theory more than in practice because they figured they could add to the Big 3 and become invincible. But they're still weak where they were last year and Wade's a year older.

I dont think anybody is saying its impossible to beat the heat in a series. If a team is hot (Dallas) and the breaks go their way (Dallas) you can beat any great team in a series. But its definately going to be an underdog win. We averaged 16 points in the 4rth quarter in those last 4 playoff games, it kinda tells me that the Heat can zip us up when they need to.

 

We need to play 5-6 great games to beat them.

I don't think they can get it out of the protected zone by then either. What happens if they contract that team?

Stern isn't going to contract Michael Jordans team. He also wanted a team in Charlotte bad enough to give it two tries.

After tomorrow the Bulls will have played 2/3 of their season thus far on the road - 20 road games to 10 home games. Given they've only 13 road games left why stop? Why not just take care of them within the next 3 weeks? What I find interesting is despite have already played - after tomorrow - 61% of their road schedule 3 of the last 5 games are the road.

The good thing about this is now maybe Rose will get the rest that he needs for his toe.
