In a quarter where Mike James, Scalabrine and Jimmy Butler played significant minutes we outscored them by 15 (granted, I didn't really pay much attention to who the Cavs were resting).

Biggest all-time Cavalier home loss. With no Rose.

i give the bulls [expletive], obviously, but i have a feeling if they get rose back 100 percent, the heat-bulls ECF is going to be better than the nba finals.

Clearly, the MVP is Rondo, as the Celtics proved tonight by losing at home without him to the juggernaut Suns.

Of course, Rondo was out tonight. #trollfail

No, reading comprehension fail on your part, if anything. If Rondo had played, obviously the mighty Celtics would have won, thus showing the world he's the MVP. The lowly Bulls win with or without their supposed MVP.

So you're agreeing with me.

Yes, yes I am. Rondo is the greatest player to ever play anything. On a serious note, SSR, do you think you guys trade any of the big 3?

I talked about it in the General NBA thread, I think by March we're in line for a playoff spot, and they won't sell in that situation. Even if injuries take their toll, they still won't be able to move Garnett or Pierce. I really don't see that much coming back for Allen, those type of trades just don't seem to return much. I'd rather ride it into the ground if we're a couple games out of the playoffs come trade deadline.

You don't think Garnett or Pierce are tradeable or just not going to get you much back? I'd think they're movable, even with Pierce having 2 years left. But, it's a weak FA class coming up(especially with Dwight limiting things). I guess I'd ride it out too, but I think some teams would come off a bunch of picks and some usable players to get those guys. Hell, I'd give up the Bobcat pick we've got for Allen, if it were up to me.

I think a Heat/Bulls-Thunder final would be pretty damn good.

Derrick Rose season per game stats:

20.8 points, 3.5 rebs, 8.7 assists, 1 steal, 3.2 turnovers, 40% from field

PG stats in games that Rose has missed:

24.3 points, 5 rebs, 7 assists, 2.3 steals, 2.3 turnovers, 45% from field.

The obvious solution is to trade D Rose for Dwight Howard.

I don't think much comes back for them because they're old and have major injury concerns. I want to see how the new CBA works in practice before committing to selling off our good players. Boston isn't Los Angeles, New York, or Chicago. If players keep looking to team up in nice areas, Boston is going to be pretty far down the list. The only thing the franchise has going for it (talent neutral) is the history, and I don't think players really care much about that. Rondo's really [expletive] good, but it's going to be a tough sell to a free agent to come play with Rajon, Brandon Bass an unprotected 2016 draft pick.

Get excited for a Lakers run after Stern forces the Russian to give the Lake Show Deron Williams at gun point.

CJ Watson: TOO STRONG TOO FAST TOO GOOD for the Suns and Cavs

fixed

Did not the Celtics just lose to the Suns? Maybe they should be targeting CJ when they decide to move Ray?
