I said a Tebow for Greg Jennings's knee just now.

Guess they shouldn't have been throwing on 6 consecutive plays to start the 2nd half while up 31-0 huh.

Oh dear god, it's the NFL.

They've beaten a current wild card team in the Jets, and beat a couple mediocre teams on the road in the Raiders and Chargers. People are acting like they're playing the Rams every week.

Plus they notched a couple huge wins over the Vikings and Chiefs.

I heard the Packers beat those teams too. Rodgers is a fraud.

The Packers haven't beaten the Chiefs yet, in fact they're probably scrambling to come up with a game plan on how they can possibly win now that they've promoted Crennel.

It's weird how defensive you are about Tebow.

Fret not because Mortensen thinks Josh McDaniels is on his way.

Do you think your comment about Rodgers was a proportionate response to the Broncos playing mediocre competition?

Do you think your mentioning that he played some bad teams was somehow instructive in response to my point that he hasn't played exclusively bad teams?

The Jets are mediocre. They've beaten a total of 1 NFL team with a winning record, a barely over .500 7-6 Cowboys team. They beat them in week 1.

What? You said they beat a wild card team in New York and then mediocre teams like San Diego and Oakland. Their other wins are over last-place Miami, last-place Kansas City and last-place Minnesota. How does that support your claim that they aren't beating exclusively bad teams?

Using the criteria in this thread, there are roughly 6-8 teams in the NFL that are actually good.

Really?

Because a wild card team and mediocre teams aren't bad.

Your comment was that people are pretending like they are playing the Rams every week. The Dolphins, Chiefs, Vikings and Cutler-less, Forte-less Bears aren't as bad as the Rams, but it's still low-level competition. It's not any less of an achievement, but it's also not unreasonable to think they'll get hammered against a good team, as jersey suggested.

And it's not like they're blowing teams out every week either. They've won one game by more than seven points and two by more than three. Three times they needed OT to win. Four of the eight games, they should have lost (Dolphins, Jets, Chargers, Bears). So not only have they played mediocre-at-best teams (outside of Detroit, a 45-10 loss), but they're not even winning convincingly. Even the Raider game (a 14-point win) was tied going into the fourth.

At this point for me I want to see the Packers remain healthy and win out. I want the Saints to settle for the 3 seed so they have to win twice (once on the road) before they even get a shot at the Packers in Lambeau. And, I want the Broncos to win their division.
