If you wanted to change the uniforms, why would you plan it 2 or 3 years in advance?

 

 

because that is how long it is going to take to turn the team around. no need to change uniforms for the same losing squad.

Changes for 2013 have to be submitted by March of 2012.

i messed around and put the blue numbers on the road jerseys and got rid of the front numbers (don't even know if they're going to do that)

 

i would've put red outline on the letters but it was too much work and i don't even know if that's part of the supposed plan

Also obviously wasn't about to start speculating as to what the changes would be to the CHICAGO lettering.

 

Either way, the blue numbers are a massive improvement.

Probably because its letting they used when I was a kid.

 

But as far as your suggestions...if they go with the blue lettering, the people that bought the super cheapest road jerseys a few years ago get something much closer to replicas...just need to add red trim:

Just to clarify, those aren't my suggestions. It's what I've heard the Cubs have in the works, probably for 2013. I posted it a page back.

Ugh, for some reason I hate when jerseys and pants are the same color unless white or grey. I can't stand it when the Bears do their Navy/Navy combo as well.

I think it can look good, like the example Vance posted. I don't think I'd like to see that as a regular uni, though.

 

I actually love when the Bears do the navy/navy combo. It's my favorite look for them.
