and the packers win another close one. unbelievable.

I know you don't wanna hear this and your going to think I am a Packer homer (I am) but good teams tend to be able to win those.

Did the Raiders really throw 6 INTs today? What the hell is wrong with this franchise?

They traded almost their entire draft this year for 3 shitty QBs

November 24, 2008 at New Orleans is the last time the Packers have lost a game that wasn't close. You're going to win a lot of close games when every loss you have is a close game.

Hahahahahaha, Browns/Seahawks game didn't even get a highlight clip in the OT.

I'm training in Cleveland right now and that was the only game on TV here for the early game. It was a horrible game. The defenses weren't even good. There was a bunch of dropped interceptions and receptions. Miserable game.

not every single one of them. winning close games is a sign of luck as well. the packers are probably the best team in the NFL, but they've been very lucky.

They traded almost their entire draft this year for 3 [expletive] QBs

There's nothing wrong with the Campbell trade. Nothing wrong with a fourth rounder for an average QB. The other two moves? Not so much.

Palmer/Boller today: 15-35, 177 yds, 0 TD, 6 INT, 19.3 QB rating. AWESOME.

Goodbye promising season. Hello 6-8 wins.

You might have missed this:

Packers lost 6 close games last year. 4 games by 3 points and 2 games by 4 points. They were in the game with after the 2-minute warning in each of those losses.

That.....doesn't make any sense

It wasn't worded the best way. What I was trying to get across is the Packers are either winning every game they play or very close to winning every game they play for nearly a 3-year period including postseason games. You (not you specifically) can't complain that a team wins a lot of close games when they have kept themselves within reach of a W for nearly 3 seasons worth of games.

I don't want to hear it either.

And yes, you are a packer homer too.

Unfortunately I think you are also right. Although eventually they'll get bit in a close one. It's unlikely to make much difference to their season.

OK, that makes a lot more sense

Saints only had one third down the whole first half. Indy is atrocious.

So they have 34 points and only had one 3rd down attempt? That's insane. I still think the Saints are the Packers biggest hurdle to Indy. I felt the Packers and Saints played very well in Week 1.

I feel the same way. The Saints are damn good.

I'm hoping they get eliminated before they face us (assuming we go deep in the playoffs)

The Saints O-line is very good.

The Packers are going 19-0 you dumb tools.

I know you're being sarcastic, but I want to talk about it anyway.

The Packers will likely run the table against the AFC West with San Diego (away) being the most difficult matchup. Raiders (home) and Chiefs (away) look like push-overs.

The other 6 games are Minnesota (home), TB (home), Detroit (away), New York Giants (away), Chicago (home), Detroit (home).

Tampa Bay may or may not be a pushover. It depends on what team shows up. I think the Thanksgiving game will be a battle, but the Lions are definitely starting to look more vulnerable so I think GB wins. I really like that the Packers have four extra days to prepare for the Giants game (Giants are in NO on Monday night and Packers will be coming off the Thanksgiving game). I think the greatest chance to lose a regular season game will be either one of the last two games because if they are undefeated they will have already locked up homefield advantage and the games will probably be very important for both the Bears and Lions.

Green Bay's defense has had issues all year. If they don't solve some, I could see them losing some games although the schedule is favorable. I'm not about to consider an undefeated record as that is incredibly hard to do. Especially if, even if they do make it to the last couple of weeks undefeated, they'll likely have nothing to play for against teams who will be fighting for the playoffs.
