what was the best case scenario he was hoping for by using those timeouts? getting the ball back at your own 30 with 15 seconds left and no timeouts? what a fool.

I got it when the Badgers took the timeout after Cousins fumbled it with about 48 seconds left. It was 2nd and 21 and, if the Badgers had held the Spartans, they would have had pretty good field position with time left.

 

I didn't get that timeout on 3rd and 8 on the MSU 36 with 30 seconds left.

Notre Dame apparently got their best win in terms of end-of-season ranking in God knows how long over MSU (Nebraska's probably the only team left on the schedule that might be favored over them), but naturally it won't matter because we just loooove giving the other team the ball.
