NW is game tonight, nice.

It seems like a game plan of "stack 9 in the box and dare Denard to beat you by throwing" wouldn't be that hard to pull off, and yet nobody's been able to do it yet this year.

Although, NW was game last week until the 4th quarter, too.

Yes, they collapsed last week so we'll see...

The last 2 long passes I've seen from Denard have been nothing more than heave-ho, pray-my-guy-comes-down-with-it rainbows. It's not a wonder one of them was picked off. He needs to do better than that to be successful long term. Or, just don't throw long and use his speed and skills to make plays from the pocket.

I guess he has amazing luck on those throws because he won te ND game by lobbing the ball up 6-7 times in the 4th quarter and UM caught at least 5 of them including the game winning TD.

how is penn state four point favorites against iowa? can penn state's offense even score four points?

vegas doesn't lose money, folks.

They did on the KSU game... I HOPE Mizzou trash goes to the SEC. They'll be lucky to be a middle of the pack team there in either main revenue generating sport.

It pains me to say it, but I think Bill Snyder might be the best coach in college football.

It pains me even more to say it, but I think Turner Gill might be the worst. We definitely have the worst S&C and DC in college football.

i just want to know how bill snyder recruits so well. he looks like a generic old white guy and manhattan is a dump in the middle of nowhere.

He doesn't, imo. And that's why what he does is so astonishing. MU has more talent than them, and it's not close. Snyder does seem to get his pick of JUCOs and transfers though, and his success rate there is pretty amazing. KU has about a 3% success rate with JUCO players. I swear, almost all of them produce for BS.

Snyder has built and sustained the programs success through JUCOs and transfers. It's like the exact opposite way of how a person would think to build a successful program, but it works. They don't have an actual QB and they are undefeated. Crazy

One of my good friends was the number 3 all purpose back in America his senior year in 96, he went to Snyder because Snyder promised his mom he would graduate, no matter what happened. He said none of the other schools after him at that point had said anything similar to that. FWIW.

I laughed pretty hard when KSU dusted off his corpse and propped him back up on the sidelines. Shows how much I know.

I was about to post about Tyler Wilson completing 18 straight, but the board had a server error, and then he threw three straight incompletions. Thanks, NSBB.

Ahh back to reality for Michigan. Maybe next year we should go 3-2 in the early part of the schedule.

Ps I know I'm overreacting to one half.

Yes! My jinx worked! Onto MSU.

Sure doesn't look like the B1G is very good apart from Wisconsin. Denard could very well one-man-show Michigan to a 12-0 regular season.

Wisconsin would then absolutely annihilate them in the conference title game, but still.

I hate that first-half Denard, but damn 2nd half Denard is a thing of beauty. Also great to see Devin get some important snaps. That pass to Jackson was beautiful.

It's a really weird Big Ten indeed. There is no way Michigan should be among the 3 best teams in te conference. Wisconsin better run the table otherwise this will be an embarrassing year for the conference.

i think they'll lose at least twice. probably going to pick msu to beat them next week.

I know I'm supposed to root against Nebraska, but it's so sweet watching OSU choke away a 21-point lead.

Joe Bauserman is so bad. So very bad.

I don't understand how a person who played minor league baseball can be so bad at throwing a ball. I've never seen so many balls just airmailed out of bounds.

Yeah @MSU will be really tough especially with MSU coming off a bye and their D playing so well. Nebraska will of course be tough and OSU may be mediocre but they have a mental edge over UM so until they win it's hard to envision it.

The 2 saving graces are 1) Nebraska and OSU are at home and 2) they don't have Wisconsin on the schedule. I say UM goes 9-3 with losses to MSU, Illinois and Nebraska and wins over Purdue, Iowa and OSU although Iowa is on the road i think and will be tough. I'll take that.

I really don't think the Big Ten is that bad. Sure, the SEC and Big 8 have been unquestionably better, but Wisconsin is deservedly in the national championship discussion, and there are likely 5 other top 25 teams at varying levels (Nebraska, Michigan, Illinois, MSU, maybe Ohio State when eligible), and PSU, Iowa and Northwestern aren't terrible. Minnesota and Indiana are avert-your-eyes bad, though.

Oh, and after that disaster, it'll be interesting to see how tOSU responds next week in Champaign, and if they'll get some of those extra suspended players back.

Posey is out for another 5 games. Don't know about Boom Herron. The biggest question will be if Braxton Miller can recover in time from the ankle problem. They'll get murdered if they have to play Bauserman.
