On the bright side...

 

Assuming that Carpenter starts tomorrow, that is another game of wear and tear on his 36 year old arm. He has pitched an insane number of innings this year and I think we will see the impact next season.

 

Here's to the Rangers dropping 15+ runs on the Cardinals. Just have to hope the Rangers don't give up 16 tomorrow night.

I'm a Tampa Bay Lightning fan, but they got a pic like that too. Still, hockey is an entire level below basketball for me which itself is a quite a large level below baseball and football.

Fangraphs had the Cardinals at about 8% to win in the 10th inning.

After Theriot struck out in the 9th, the cardinals were 4.1% to win. That's gotta be about as long of odds as a 29 point underdog in college football winning a game outright.
