Some team is going to be very sorry when Scott Boras cons them into giving Edwin Jackson $13 million.

I call it the every pitcher who leave the cardinals, see piniero and jeff weaver.

You forgot Suppan.

Jeff Suppan. (Don't know if he was a Boras client).

Woody Williams. Pretty much any price of [expletive] who has success with you.

Marcum to the Brewers is like what Todd Hundley was to us-- hideously painful to watch.

If by some miracle longshot the Brewers win the next 2 games (in which case I'm also buying a lottery ticket) Marcum shouldn't even be allowed in the clubhouse during the series.

It will get worse if Brett Lawrie continues to do what he did this year.

put in a pitcher who can get hitters out. put in axford, who gives a [expletive].

At this point it doesn't matter. There won't be a game tomorrow. Let everyone get some final work in for the season in front of the home fans.

Yeah I don't think anyone has ever came back from 3 runs in the 3rd inning.

I feel for Brewers fans, they have the best team they've had since the early '80s and they are gonna get beat out by a Cardinal team that even their fans hated this year.

They have, but I'm saying the Brewers won't do it here.

edit: and now it's 5 runs. Ballgame.

And while I think they will still be competitive, losing Fielder is going to go a long way towards closing the window they've had the last few years.

Honest question to Cub fans, is this how it feels to play the Cardinals every game?

To me this year pisses me off more than the years where they are really good and they deserve the success.

Confusing question as the Brewers play the Cardinals the same amount of times.

yeah an epic surge playing .650 ball against the likes of the cubs, astros and pirates.

they made the playoffs because the braves went 8-18 in their last 9 series, against a lot of teams that had nothing to play for.

also your spelling is terrible.

Thay one ninedy gaymes. Accept it.

There's no winning in those scenarios. The 04 and 05 teams where they ran away with the division with teams that weren't close to 100-win good on paper were just as annoying, it's just there were other games on to distract me.

Yeah but this is the first year where both have been competitive. Do they always hit 12 hoppers through the infield and hit bloop doubles, and every single bounce basically going their way?

I'm sure they don't, but damn does it ever seem like it sometimes.

No. They usually hit 12 hoppers through the infield and hit bloop doubles, and 90% of the bounces go their way.

PS: I want the Cubs to build their franchise the right way, but if there is some way for us to be somewhat competitive this next season without jeopardizing the future I want to do it so bad. So sick of watching this.

[expletive] the Cardinals. And [expletive] the Braves for collapsing at the end of the season.

Pujols swan song in St. Louis.
