It took any epic collapse from the Braves to get The Braves out of the playoffs. It took an epic surge by the Cardinals at the same time to get them in.

Had the '69 Mets not surged that summer, the '69 Cubs might no be known for their failure and we might be in year 42 of our little draught.

[expletive], I wish a 65 win season on the 2012 Cardinals, but for now we have to give credit where credit is do.

yeah an epic surge playing .650 ball against the likes of the cubs, astros and pirates.

they made the playoffs because the braves went 8-18 in their last 9 series, against a lot of teams that had nothing to play for.

also your spelling is terrible.

marcum was bad in september too. and soft tossers tend to do more poorly in the postseason.

great season brewers, see you in a few years after you rebuild your farm system.

go rangers.

Marcum strikes out Pujols on a 2-2 pitch. Calls it a ball. Walks him, Marcum then throws BP and David Freakin Freese who is ungodly because that is what the Cardinals do homers. Speechless.

Pujols was safe. Freese just slammed a dagger. Don't worry guys, the Rangers will bend them over.

yes just like the braves didn't blow a 99.4% chance at the wild card and the phillies kicked their asses.

Well that's because it was a ball.

Don't worry; the Cardinals may scratch across another run or so, but they're pretty bad about putting up a big first inning then sleepwalking through the rest of the game. If they go to Narveson, the Brewers still have a chance to win.

Go away, boo hoo we backed into a playoffs and are gonna win it all.

Just spelling out their MO.

No their mo is drinking and driving and dying.

All right then.

At the deadline they realized they didn't have enough duis, corrected it by adding rafeal, and bam pennant.

Some team is going to be very sorry when Scott Boras cons them into giving Edwin Jackson $13 million.

I call it the every pitcher who leave the cardinals, see piniero and jeff weaver.
