I was just looking last night at the fact that Shark hadn't allowed an ER in his last 12 appearances. Oh well. Garza should be something like 8-6 but instead he's 4-7.

I didn't even see Wood warming up yesterday when Quade used just about every reliever he had. Hell, Rodrigo Lopez was in the bullpen in the ninth inning when Marmol got off to the bad start.

To me it's not so much that I have a problem with Samardzija, more that I find it odd that in a series with 3 close games the only guys that haven't pitched are Ramon Ortiz and Kerry Wood.
