But [expletive], I thought he was dead at the plate when he sent him.......[expletive] they're walking Castro

Baker would have been out by 20 feet if that throw is remotely close

Good move by San Francisco here. Not only is Soto less likely than Castro to get a single, but this also probably forces the Cubs to keep Hill in the game. If Castro had ended the inning, they would have double switched Soto in. Of course, if Soto ends it here that doesn't matter.

Hell yea, [expletive] the fecal league standings or whatever. I can't root for this team to lose only to draft some pitcher coming off tommy john surgery or a 5 tool player

Grabow gets a W... Guess that one poster who thinks W-L for 'pen pitchers matters is gonna think Grabow's good now. Edited by CyHawk_Cub

Yeah, unless the Cubs win just enough to make it look as if injuries are what ruined this season and Hendry keeps his job as a result.

I hate that circumstances have conspired to make me feel conflicted about Cubs wins, but that's where I'm at. Well, unless it's against the Sox or Cards. My heart firmly overrules my brain when it comes to that.
