Throwing out the first pitch

So, I get to throw out the first pitch of a professional baseball game (I cringe to call it "professional"). It's for an independent league game. Anybody have some tips? Do you take a mitt out? I feel weird throwing without a mitt. Do I throw a breaking ball? The heater? Change up? They are all pretty much the same pitch for me and top out in the upper 50's.

Are you a lefty or a righty? In either case, a Nationals windbreaker is a must.

As for the rest, just try not to bounce it.

These are almost all thoughts going through my mind... pitch from the stretch or full windup? If I do a windup, do I do an exaggerated windup? Do I do the Nomo? The DWillis? The Fernando? How often do I shake off the sign? Do I step off throw to first?
