Bartlett's contract: $4 million this season, $5.5 million next year and a $5.5 million option for 2013 ($1.5 million buyout). If the Cards are taking on $7+ million in order to have essentially another Ryan Theriot on their roster, they probably aren't giving up Shelby Miller as well (as much as I would love to see it). If the Pads want to eat some of Bartlett's contract, then perhaps.
