So when does the Tyler Colvin experience end? Give Snyder a few starts, what the heck he can't be any worse.

He's due.

Let him play. This season is in the S-bend and we might as well find out if the Colvin we saw in 2010 was a mirage or not.

I understand your thought process, but is the kid wrecked mentally by struggling so bad? Plus, facing the Phillies pitching staff later this week probably isn't going to help.

Oh god, we better get a win against the reds otherwise we will be working on a double digit streak after the phillies. On the flip side maybe hendry gets fired if that happens. Although I'm guessing thats not the case.

Tyler Colvin's OPS: .375

Cubs' win pct: .397

I have to say, I'm pretty shocked about this. This isn't hitting .230something and OPSng in the low .700s, which id expected to be Colvins floor. Obviously, as everyone said, his start last year wasn't sustainable, but I don't think that even the biggest doubters would have predicted him to bottom out this bad.

Ever since Colvin was stabbed by the bat, he's been awful. Wonder if this has a little bit to do with his struggles. What did he do in spring training?

Nope. I definitely was opposed to the "Colvin as a starter" idea, but even I didn't think or expect he'd be THIS bad.

It is way below what I expected as a bottom, but he's still below 90 PA this season. I think a HR in his next appearance would raise the OPS around 50 points.
