Pena 3-4, with his 3rd HR in what, 4 games? Glad to see him finally hitting.

I along with many others felt that as soon as Pena got 1 homer he was going to get a bunch of them.

No, regardless of Fukudome's awesomeness, that Baker play is nearly impossible.

I worked midnight so I just caught the end of it. Turned it on in the 8th just in time to hear them talk about the NLCS, AGAIN. I was like "[expletive], REALLY"? Turned it off. Came back in the 9th to catch Pena's homer and the rest.

Well that was cool. But anytime they talk about that [expletive] everyone should immediately flip the channel. That way they can see a mass dip in #'s. Maybe eventually they'll [expletive] get it.

And if everyone in America goes a day wihout buying gas, they'll have to drop the prices, right?

What, you have a Nielsen box at home?

DeWitt should probably get more playing time. He seems to be taking advantage of his limited opportunities.

The question is where. The Cubs 3 second baseman have been the Cubs best 3 infielders so far (who knew we would be saying that after just over a month!)

Yeah, the Cubs are the ONLY MLB TEAM EVER to have an unfortunate or fluke-y ground rule double happen to them.

You couldn't possibly have been serious with this, right? It's even more hilarious because you're complaining like the Cubs got cosmically hosed on a ball that Baker got a double off of that almost any CF is going to usually catch and should have been caught today.

I doubt it.

DeWitt always has had the highest ceiling of the 3, not that thats saying a ton. DeWitt can handle 3rd as well, but I believe that Aramis has had a day off recently, but going by his health history, he could use some time off here and there. I think Baker has logged some innings in the OF, but we dont exactly need a 6th outfielder.

The OP here is nonsensical, however, I do find ground rule doubles frustrating, but theres not much to be done about them. The fact is, more often than not, a guy with average to above average speed will score from first on a double. Not always though, and they really cant cange the rule to say, if a guy like Juan Pierre or Rajai Davis are standing on 1st, they score on a GRD, but if its Aramis Ramirez or Paul Konerko, they go to 3rd.

Anyone know where I can get a recording of that game? I caught a Colvin foul ball in the upper deck and never spilled my beer. Perhaps you saw me?

If you tell me the inning, situation, etc and what you were wearing, I can look it up.

Bottom of the 7th, Colvin at bat, foul to the front of the upper deck on slight third base side. Section 417.

I was wearing a black North Face jacket with no hat on.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, have you looked for this yet? Otherwise, tell me where you go and I'll find it.

Thanks

I checked MLB.tv, FOX did not show the stands on any of the foul balls in that AB.

I had a feeling FOX would be stupid like that. Oh well, it's all up here
