I'm struggling to think of a more amazing night of non-Cubs baseball than what I've seen tonight. 3 of 4 games delivered just [expletive] fantastic drama.

Can anyone think of a crazier and more exciting night ever in the history of baseball? This was just absolutely crazy and unbelievably entertaining.

Both the last day of the 1998 season and the last day of the 1995 season were similarly nuts.

Hahahaha it's like the yankees just decided to [expletive] with the Red Sox in the worst way possible. "Hey let's get a big lead, then mostly blow it, but then get within the last strike of winning the game, but then give up a home run to a guy with a sub 400 ops this year. Then we'll go to extra innings, put a runner on third with none out and [expletive] that up, then give up a walkoff home run right after the red sox finish blowing their game."

I was thinking that too. My thoughts were that as soon as Boston lost, Girardi gave his pitcher the meatball signal.

I dont think anything in October will be able to top this evening.

I am SO glad I am not a fan of any of these wild card teams. The drama probably would have killed me and resulted in several holes punched in the wall. Definitely the most dramatic night in regular season history.

I was kind of indifferent to the MLB Network before but I [expletive] love it now.

Agreed. They did a really good job with all the back and forth drama.

First five pitches of the at-bat were either on the outside corner or a bit outside.

Last pitch of the at-bat was middle in.

That Tampa tv announcer sucks. I probably would have lit myself on fire and jumped out of the booth, if not during the johnson hr then definitely with the longoria walkoff.

No isht! What a bore that guy was.
