Adam Woodbury got his offer from UNC. He seemed to be the third or fourth big guy on the board for them but Roy probably felt he had to make the move with Gesell's commitment.

I'd rather the Illini get Malcolm Hill, he's taller and has a higher upside than Nunn. With that said, I don't like missing on instate recruits to Big 12 programs not named "Kansas". Close the class with Hill and Hamilton, and hold out for Parker. Sterling Brown is getting real good buzz, and could be another option.

the lead recruiter on him at memphis was hired away by the aggies, they probably just overwhelmed him. i don't know if the commitment sticks, but I'd rather have a bigger guard like hill anyway.

i really don't think there's a chance that we land parker, not that i have anything but history to back that thought up.

I think Parker will go a long way towards proving how good Jerrance is on the recruiting trail and what Howard's legacy will be with Illinois. Also need to keep an eye on the NBA situation. With Nunn (supposedly) committed to A&M, which is Parker's dad's alma mater, they might become a player. I'm not holding my breath but I think we've got as good a shot as anyone else, especially if Jabari is interested in staying home, and playing with Chicago boys for his one year of college.

I think Woodbury still ends up at Iowa, even with the UNC offer. KU would worry me more, but I also think it's a longshot they offer.

Richmond has a stable household, had parents that said all the right things, didn't seem to be using him as a meal ticket. He had issues in high school, but nothing to this level(at least what was reported). Have to wonder what went wrong.

I thought his family seemed a little crazy after he left UI. Didn't his uncle say some sort of crazy stuff about the draft?

Well, I meant his parents. His uncle did say some loopy stuff, which was then refuted by his father saying he didn't speak for the family.

ETA: His uncle said he was better than Harrison Barnes.

Really? I think it's Iowa or UNC. UNC offers everything KU does plus he can play with Paige.
