The media obsession with Ben Roethlisberger being a winner is getting annoying. He clearly was the only player on the Steelers Super Bowl winning teams. He's a decent quarterback on a very good team but ESPN wants to place him among the best ever if the Steelers win this game. That's stupid.

 

You are really selling him short when you say hes "a decent QB". I know some of us already had this discussion in another thread, but Ben is firmly planted in the group of QB's behind Manning and Brady.

Brady won his three Super Bowls in more or less exactly the same way Roethlisberger won his two (playing usually very well and sometimes great while largely being carried by a great defense), which people seem to want to ignore sometimes.

 

Yea I dont know wtf you are talking about because everybody kisses Bradys ass like hes the greatest ever.

 

I'm pretty sure Andy's saying people aren't crediting Roethlisberger the way the media is praising Brady, although they have similar results.

I was way more nervous for the Bears game. Maybe I'm in happy to be there mode (I really hope the players aren't) but I'm more excited then nervous. Considering we are the 6th seed I can't be too disappointed if they lose (even though I'm sure I will be.) I just know it's going to be really amazing to see the Packers play in this game.
