where would any of us be without the reverse jinx? remember game 6 of the hawks/preds?

oh that was the season you pretended to be a hockey fan so you could bandwagon onto a title contender

To be fair, there was a lot of that going around.

As for being able to beat every team this year, there are only 5 teams capable of doing it. Here's who they need to beat (# of chances in parentheses):

Bulls - Knicks(1), Hawks(2)

Spurs - Celtics(1)

Thunder - Heat(1), Spurs(1), Raptors(1 - yes, they are 0-1 against the Raptors), Lakers(1)

Lakers - Heat(1), Magic(1), Mavs(2)

What this says to me mostly is that Miami still has to play a lot of good teams in their last 30 games. :)

Updated your list mainly because the Lakers have beaten three of the six that were left (Charlotte, Atlanta and San Antonio) and I was curious about the other teams. New Orleans can't do it because they finished 0-2 against the Knicks.

lol, win or lose, this thread always devolves into people complaining about the officiating.

come at me bro

Hahah, I just think it's funny that general fan insecurity can take over Bulls fans despite the fact that their team is [expletive] excellent. I expect it from mediocre teams like the Bucks or something, where there fans complain that the refs are screwing them to mask the fact that the team blows, but i'd think bulls fans would be above that.

You do realize that 90% of NBA fans believe their fans are getting screwed by the officials every single game right? It's been even worse since the Donaghy crap happened.

Uhh, no? I think most fans realize that the refs are just bad and sometimes it hurts one team worse than the other.

Quick turnaround now with a home game against NO. Be nice to not have a letdown now that they finally have control of second in the East.

In a related note, CP3 left the court on a stretcher tonight in Cleveland with an apparent head injury. Has movement of extremities, but I don't imagine he'll go tomorrow.

I heard they wheeled him out on Paul Pierce's wheelchair. Chris Paul is basically performance art at this point, like Kaufman, but he roleplays a faggot

Bethlehem Shoals recants, bows to Derrick's indomitable will - http://freedarko.blogspot.com/2011/03/abjection-at-speed-of-sound.html

Kindly do not use the word "recant" with this one. I wouldn't have posted this, or tweeted like a fool during Sunday's game, if I thought this were inconsistent with my GQ piece. I'm not above admitting I was wrong, but I don't like to make a show of it -- at least not with dumb [expletive] like sports.

The Bulls are now 11-6 against the rest of the top 8 in the league (Spurs, Lakers, Celtics, Heat, Magic, Mavs, Thunder). However, since the December 3 loss to the Celtics, they're 10-0 against those teams (v OKC, v LAL, v BOS, v MIA, v DAL, v ORL, v SAS, v MIA, @ ORL, @ MIA)
