two TOs negated by really questionable calls

i really wonder if we'll ever start being the beneficiary of calls like these

hahaha, Jimmy Johnson just dropped some knowledge about how he likes Jamaal Charles even though "nobody knows about him"

i don't think Todd Haley knows about Charles

That was [expletive] ridiculous. I can only imagine how bad you're feeling over that, but those calls were really bad. Then the pass interference, which would've brought up a 4th down in the 4th, was just as equally bad of a call.

I know it doesn't mean anything, but the Lions actually look like a team that's pretty well-coached. I'm hoping we don't see Stafford next week either.

Poor Samurai Mike.

He has to be the first coach canned. A lot of people thought they'd overtake Arizona last year and everybody basically thought they'd win the division this year. 0-3 after three weeks, where two of those losses came in blowout fashion, can't be good for anyone associated with that team.

sneakypower, what happened to Best?

Adrian is playing the best football of his life this year and it doesn't show because our o-line is awful. He's gotta be getting hit at or behind the line on like 60% of his carries. Only negative today from him was the dropped pass on the first drive where he probably could have had 30+ yards.

The defense has been a reverse of last year. The secondary has been solid but the front four is getting no pressure. Allen has been invisible. Overall they've been playing really well even though today was the Lions at home. Sidney Rice needs to get some kind of injection/transplant/transfusion to get back in week 7. I have no idea how we're going to throw on the Jets with this group of WR's.

Randy Cross and whoever his PBP guy was just had the biggest WTF moment of the season in the Raiders/Cards game. The Raiders are down 24-23 with 1:15 left, on their own 35 and have only 1 timeout left. It's 4th down.

PBP guy: "Oakland has 1 timeout left so Cable rolling the dice from the 36."

After they convert

Cross: "Another big risk. (pauses, realizing the situation). I tend to get a little more conservative and rely on my defense in those circumstances. (laughs awkwardly). Play the odds, I know the clock would have run out I just don't like the chances but that's just me."

WHAT?

Too many blows to the head during his career.
