Locker has some amazing skills and tools but he's so raw and an NFL team would have to invest so much time and coaching on him. The production has not come close to matching the talent. But I don't see why he's considered better than Luck and maybe Mallett this season and I saw some people saying they'd take Locker over Bradford last year.

Exactly. He clearly has some great physical gifts, but a lot of people had Locker as the #1 QB prospect and suggested he could have gone #1 overall in the most recent draft. He's pumped up as the #1 QB prospect for the upcoming draft...I didn't get it then, and I don't get it now. He clearly has good raw ability, but #1 overall? Off of one decent season passing? Why? What's funny is that many of the same scouts/analysts/armchair quarterbacks who were so high on Locker and his career 53% completion percentage would downgrade Mallett over his accuracy. Like I said, I don't get it. I'm much higher on Luck than Locker.

I like Luck more too. I haven't seen a lot though, but he seems very accurate. Locker could use the Aaron Rodgers treatment in the NFL and sit for 2-3 years and be good.

That was an odd fake FG. It was slow developing, but Notre Dame's defense had no idea what to do. They just kind of stood there. Typically if the holder needs that much time to throw, he's going to be pressured.

That was fun.

Mizzou needed a miracle touchdown to beat San Diego State today, please knock it off Gabbert.

It'll be interesting to hear from the resident ND fans about Brian Kelly. He made some very questionable calls in this game.

I was hoping for a second that the reason ND wasn't moving was because they had heard a whistle for the delay of game penalty that MSU was going to get after snapping the ball late. Unfortunately that wasn't it.

It looks like from rewinding the play that he would have been still been very open regardless but a MSU player got tangled up with the 2 ND players who might have run back to cover and after all 3 of them hit the ground that left no chance for anybody to get back there.

I know I hate Notre Dame, but seeing them go down in that fashion was tremendous. Just think tho, if that gets botched...how bad is D'Antonio gonna get ripped?

Never any doubt.

That's the worst he's ever been I think. Plus the play calling was atrocious, WRs couldn't catch the ball, and while the defense was decent, giving up a 75 yard TD run to end the first half and a 92 yard TD run late in the game is unacceptable.

You're playing in MSU. You're never going to get a favorable clock call in East Lansing.

I dont think I would rip him. That would have been a tough fg to make. Honestly I thought the game was already over because I didnt like our chances to make that kick.

I know. MSU is the reason the Big Ten runs the clock.

Sadly it took us screwing Michigan to get it changed...if we would have screwed Minnesota they would have not changed it.
