Seems like every Wings win this month has been in OT, while all there loses seem to be rather one-sided. Of course I should look this up because it is probably just perception

Nice of the Blackhawks to finally get on the playoffs side of the end of season performance projections. Maybe they can actually finish close to their pythagorean projection.

 

EDIT: Going by Pythagorean projections from goal differential, these would be the final West playoff standings:

 

1. Vancouver - 110

2. Detroit - 103

3. Dallas - 100

4. Nashville - 98

5. Chicago - 95

6. Phoenix - 90

7. Los Angeles - 89

8. San Jose - 88

The Hawks have played pretty well against what would be the top 3 seeds right now. They also have one of the better offenses in the league. If the defense keeps playing like they have lately I may start getting excited about another deep run in the playoffs (if they get there of course).
