Colvin cannot be used as a defensive replacement later on if he is the DH. That said, I don't see why Lou couldn't put him in LF and use Soriano as the DH.

That's what I had been assuming he would do tonight.

Why isnt Castro higer in the lineup? If anyhting, the #9 hitter should be Nady. Hes got a .435 OBP vs righties but only slugging .235, making him a perfect #9 guy to act as another lead off man. Meanwhile Castro's power has got to be up higher in the lineup, probably after Byrd

For the record, idiots, I would have just as soon not made a game thread this early.

think of it this way, at least you'll only have to do it once!

Sorry, this makes too much sense.

That Kinsler play was fantastic. Falls down exiting the batters box on a swinging bunt and ends up at 3rd base. OUTRAGEOUS! I love this team!

Man, there is some talent at the ballpark tonight, and I'm not talking about baseball. Wow Dallas must be populated with the highest % of beautiful women in MLB.

well, this game isn't going to end well, so I may as well ask a question that i don't feel like making a topic about.

What's the best hotel I can stay at in chicago that is:

1. close to Wrigley, although it doesn't have to be close, I can take the public transportation

2. close to bars. This one is important.

3. around 50-60 per night for 1 person.

4. Not in a bad area.

Wow, 2 page game thread. I guess thats all it deserves.

I'm stunned by the level of apathy already this season. I know the team has been bad, but I can't ever remember everyone giving up so early.
