Well that was really lame. If the Pistons hadn't lost a coin flip with the 76ers as a result of a tie they would presumably have the #2 pick. Of course they won 4 of their last 6 to ensure they would finish one fricking game ahead of the Wiz.

When I saw that was the top 3 I was hoping the 6ers would get the #1 spot. I want Philly and the Knicks to be good again.

agreed on the sixers being good... the knicks being bad is fun but i understand it's not great for the nba. i'm just glad the sixers have a high pick; they've been in draft purgatory (end of lottery) every year.

Any chance the Wizards trade out of #1? Between Josh Howard, Nick Young, Foye, Thornton, and if they allow Arenas back the Wizards have plenty of bodies at the 1-2-3 positions where Wall and Turner play. They don't have any help upfront for Blatche and could multiple players and/or picks.

None of those guys can touch John Wall. They'd better not trade that pick.

Call me crazy, but the Knicks being horrendous the past 10 years or so has been [expletive] awesome for the nba. Being a team based in NY doesn't entitle you to be really good.

Turner to Utah would have been awesome.

can't wait to see the "anyone but bulls" crew try to justify lebron to the wizards.

There is a least one Wizs fan over at realgm, that claims that now that they got the #1 pick the Wizs are now a darkhouse candidate to land Lebron. He went on to say he much rather be on the Wizs roster then the Bulls. He doesn't get it.

With that said, I suspect you won't find anybody who thinks Washington will be a destination for LBJ. Besides why would LBJ want to go to Washington, he would have to play in MJ's shadow....right...right?

The coin flip doesn't affect the numbered combos each team gets. You each got 53.

They got the same amount but if the Pistons had won the flip they would have had the combination that resulted in the Sixers getting #2. At least that's what I read yesterday. I'm not really upset about that though. I am annoyed that they turned it on in the last 10 days of the season.
