You're probably thinking of this game. May 17, 1979. Phillies 23, Cubs 22 in 10 innings. The Cubs hit 6 HRs (including 3 by Dave Kingman) and the Phillies hit 5 (including 2 by Mike Schmidt). It was 7-6 Phillies after just 1 inning, and both starting pitchers lasted only 1/3 inning each.
