I'm caught between a rock and a hard place with Soto no longer in the 8 hole. If he's going to hit so low anyway, why not let him and his patience hit 8 and give Castro a better chance to see some pitches.

That's only because he actually hit a home run and was too winded to finish his trot and decided it was in his best interest to just stay at 2B.

Yeah, that was the same thing I said in the Castro thread. Of course, now that it actually makes any kind of sense to bat Soto 8th Lou opts to not do so.

So what channel is this game actually on? My DirectTV guide says CSN, and the Sox are on CSN+.

That's what the DirecTV website showed me as well.

When I checked this morning I could have sworn I saw the Sox on CSN. But now my guide says it's the Cubs. Did they change it for Castro?

That's entirely possible. I checked an hour or so ago in lieu of getting work done.

In all honestly, isn't it the line up you would have predicted Lou to draw up for today?

Forecast makes it look iffy as to whether this game gets played or not.

forecast looks pretty decent until late night.

I'm sitting here 75 miles north of Cincinnati, and it's a beautiful sunny day..... but all hell could break loose in the next six hours, eh?

where you at fred? i'm like 75 miles north of cincy

Theriot 2B

Fukudome RF

Lee 1B

Byrd CF

Ramirez 3B

Soriano LF

Soto C

Castro SS

Silva P

If Castro can be even slightly productive and Aramis ever pulls out of it, this could be one hell of a lineup, especially when Good Sorianos with the club.

I wanted to see what Castro would have to do to top our 2Bs so far and the answer is .... not much. God, even our bench is pathetic. Not just struggling, outright pathetic.

excluding Mr. Colvin, our bench is hitting .225/.298/.329/.627, 61 OPS+

Sure, but just we can predict his stupid decisions it doesn't make them any less stupid.

Fuk goes the opposite way for a base hit.
