Think of the days of Rob Mackowiak and you'll probably have your answer.

Hard to believe I was just in Milwaukee watching the Cubs have the Crew for lunch.

I don't know what this team is right now.

I'm thinking now is probably a good time to put the Cubs on /ignore for a little while.

It's the perfect time to fire Lou actually

Hendry could say its not Lou's fault we just need a change and a shake-up

That's what it will be, we will probably see a lineup including Tracy, Nady, Colvin, Hill, Fontenot, and Baker with guys batting in places they shouldn't, or even in the lineup to begin with.

If Dusty didn't get fired during the crap-tacular suckfests of 2005 and 2006, Lou isn't getting fired now. Firing a manager mid-season isn't Hendry's M.O.

Yes but is firing Hendry midseason Ricketts' M.O.? Oh wait, he's busy trying to get a stupid sign approved.

Yes, I'm sure a man who made his billions in the trading business is incapable of juggling the impossible duel tasks of getting approval for a sign and making personnel decisions.

There isn't much likelihood of a midseason move unless the team truly tanks.

I'm just making a comment about his obsession for getting this sign. I want the sign but I'm sick of reading about it.

Obsession? It's a minor business transaction. I've seen a couple headlines, but have not read an article about it, I suggest you do the same.

All I see in the red eye is "Ricketts complains about approval process", "Ricketts threatens to not invest in Wrigley if sign not approved". Everytime I open the redeye on the way to work theres something on it. Anytime I turn on CSN Chicago for Sportsnight or Chicago Tribune live they are discussing it. It's annoying mostly because it pisses me off that people are actually so opposed to it.

Anyways we're getting off topic. It just happened to be on my mind when I made that post, so lets leave it at that.

So it's actually other people's obsession over the Ricketts and the sign.
