Am I the only person that still thinks Beasley can become a pretty damn good player?

He absolutely can. He just needs to man up and not play so damn timid all the time. Larry Brown will be great for him.

He doesn't have a position. If he gets his head on straight he could be a great 6th man though.

I'm guessing the Lebron "Witness" billboard in Cleveland is taken down soon. By tomorrow morning maybe.

That city is losing the only thing it had sports-wise.

The city's biggest sports icons will now be umm Grady Sizemore and Joshua Cribbs?

Mike Holmgren?

Pretty sure at least a couple of the offensive linemen are bigger than him..... :hello:

When I saw that post, I thought Joshua Cribbs.

Man that's gotta suck.

Ouch. Easy.

I seriously feel sick to my stomach about this whole ordeal.

How is he ok to play 25 minutes a game as a 6th man without a position, but not 35 as a starter? The definition of positions in the NBA is so ambiguous, you don't really need to fall into a preset definition to be successful.

At this point, I'm pretty convinced LeBron isn't coming to Chicago. Extremely disappointed, but hey, move on to realism for a minute. The Bulls still have Rose, Noah, Boozer, Deng, Gibson and Johnson right now. They desperately need some talent and depth at shooting guard (considering they have 0 SGs, yes, it's an understatement). There is some quality available in Mike Miller, Dorell Wright, Anthony Morrow, J.J. Redick and Ronnie Brewer. If the Bulls can land two of that group, the team as constructed should be a decent bet to contend for at worst a top-4 spot in the East. Wish there was better news, but the team gets to play anyway.

Not that it doesn't indicate Miami, but I'd think even if I signed a 120 million dollar deal with the Wolves, I'd want to celebrate on South Beach.

No, if you signed with the T-Wolves you'd get that hooker boat the Vikings had a few years ago.

As a 6th man he can be your primary offensive option on the 2nd unit. He's going up against other bench players a lot of the time. Guys like Donyell Marshall, Chris Gatling, Rodney Rogers made a great living being ambiguous 3/4 combo forwards and sparks off the bench. Lamar Odom works a lot better off the bench too.

I mean where's he's going to play on Miami as a starter? If he's a 4 he'll get murdered on the glass and Bosh want a legit defensive partner down there.

Miami in the summer is terrible.

I wouldn't go there for the weather...

I'm not saying he's necessarily a fit with Miami, but in this particular situation, since LeBron is essentially a point forward, Beasley would slot as a "3" I also think it's a dubious claim to say Beasley would mostly match up with other bench players coming off the bench.

I could be wrong, but I bet you guys are shocked at how good some awful role players can look when Wade and James are on the floor at the same time.

To the extent that they'll be able to slash and kick, sure, but who are they going to slash and kick to? Are Kyle Korver, Mike Miller and Jared Dudley going to call a press conference announcing their intention to sign with the Miami Heat? Who do they dump the ball to inside? Pape Sow?

I'll repeat: this And 1 monstrosity won't get out of the Eastern Conference. I doubt they could even take the Bulls in a seven-game series.
