  1. Ump refuses to let Soto throw the ball to Demp.
  2. What's black? Is that better than gold?
  3. Considering the real story about how Fisher left Utah, Fisher would fit with the other liars, creeps, and jerks in Miami. :P
  4. They do need help, regardless of their talent. All three can't play 48 minutes a game for 82 games a year. True, but all 3 of them won't be on the bench at the same time of a close game so it really is a moot point. 1-2 of them will be able to succeed with the likes of a Miller, Wright and Bell.
  5. Well, the Lakers were offering him a massive pay cut. I would love to get Josh Childress. His length and versatility would be welcome. Have you heard how much Fisher is being offered by the Lakers? He was making $5M this year and even if they asked him to take half, I'd guess the $2.5M would still be more than what the Heat would offer him. I really hope Fish doesn't go to the Heat. He'd fit in nicely with the Heat. He's good at that knocking down the open shot thing which is basically what he'd have every time he touches the ball when he actually gets on the court.
  6. Which is why I am not scared of their depth. Oh ok.. Good to know a team with 3 superstars needs more help than a big man and a 3 point shooter...
  7. Of the complimentary players Miami are signing or trying to sign, the only one that is any good is Mike Miller. Fisher and Howard are "just bodies" at this point their career. So I'm not worried about the Heat depth. Udonis Haslem is hardly "just a body". I didn't say Haslem, either. I mention only Fisher and Howard as being "just a body." I understand that but it isn't just those 2  Besides, I'm willing to bet the only reason Derek is talking to Miami is to get a bigger contract from the Lakers. Howard is whatever, he'll fit in as a rotational guy and the hack-a-Howard guy. Brad Miller is ok, Shaq is meh, James Jones will be coming back, Raja Bell would be a nice signing, Dorrell Wright wouldn't be bad at all but he's about to get paid to Golden State, Joel Anthony will be coming back as the center without a doubt, Magliore probably as a backup as the rookies will fill it out.

  9. So much for them not adding depth though right? #-o
  10. Also allows Miami to get back Haslem and Wright using Bird rights. They're waiting for Mike Miller and they contacted Jason Williams to play for minimum.
  11. For whatever it's worth. Beasley is being traded to the T-Wolves..
  12. In the words of John McEnroe "you cannot be serious." Spoelstra's seat just got supernova hot right now, which is appropiate given the franchise's name. If Miami gets off to say........even a 5-12 record (maybe unlikely, but still in the realm of possibility) see how quickly Riley fires Spoelstra and takes control of the team. That's his M.O. Wade had a huge say in hiring Spo and loves him. I have no doubt that Riley would take it over, but it isn't a forgone conclusion.
  13. No worries. Miami's season tickets sold out early this morning. The only tickets left are the individual tickets for $500.
  14. Never even heard of him. Been on Miami a few years. That is one of the people Dwyane has been playing with.
  15. apparently Miller had an offer on the table from the Heat......contingent on James NOT signing. That offer is obviously gone now Technically, it's still possible. Just unlikely now.
  16. I just wanted to say sorry guys. I know most of you are pretty mad and upset about what happened but you guys do have a very good nucleus to build around. At least you're still better than the Knicks!!
  17. Is this real? Cause if it is, I can't imagine New Jersey being thrill that Jay-Z (part owner of the Nets) bought season tickets from the Heat. I can't say if it's true or not. I heard it on the radio and then when I got home saw that so who knows what the hell's going on.
  18. Bosh isn't a schlub either in rebounding :?
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if this LeBron special goes on and on and then it's over and he doesn't announce a team. With this offseason nothing would surprise me.
  20. Just heard that Jay-Z has bought 2 courtside season tickets to the Miami Heat for $900,000.....
  21. Yea, I forgot they had 3 of them on the team =D> Also, with the amount of time Wade and LeBron would be driving to the basket I don't think Howard would be in the game long enough to matter.
  22. To the extent that they'll be able to slash and kick, sure, but who are they going to slash and kick to? Are Kyle Korver, Mike Miller and Jared Dudley going to call a press conference announcing their intention to sign with the Miami Heat? Who do they dump the ball to inside? Pape Sow? I'll repeat: this And 1 monstrosity won't get out of the Eastern Conference. I doubt they could even take the Bulls in a seven-game series. We'll see about that I suppose...
  23. Someone that doesn't watch basketball.
  24. He absolutely can. He just needs to man up and not play so damn timid all the time. Larry Brown will be great for him.
