Despite my smart-ass comments I'm much less heated towards Cleveland than I was towards Boston, or Miami, or Detroit when we lost to those teams in the playoffs. Maybe it's because it's Cleveland and the poor bastards never get to win anything.

I'm still not sure the Cavs will win - we won the only game in which we shot even tolerably from 3, and Orlando shoots a hell of a lot better than tolerably - but I can't say I'll be rooting vehemently against them.

It's because we had a fighter's chance in the series' against those teams. We never had a shot in this series. I wasn't even really upset that we were mauled today.

The only reason why I don't want the Cavs to win the title is because I want LeBron to be so pissed off at the organization that he decides to bolt. Other than that, I wouldn't have a problem rooting for them at all.

LeBron could really only be upset with himself. The Cavs had some glaring matchup problems with the Magic last year, and for the most part they went out and fixed them. They also added another very solid offensive option in Jamison. The Cavs have, by far, the most talented roster in the Eastern Conference.

Although, Orlando still scares the hell out of me. They have the best inside-outside game in the NBA, and if they get some hot shooting for a few games in a row, there really isn't a whole lot that the Cavs can do about it. I think that if both teams make it to the ECF, Vince Carter will be the most important player in the series.

An Orlando-Cleveland ECF rematch would be a really awesome series, and though it seems predestined, with the way the whole playoffs thing goes, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the teams doesn't make it there.

For whatever its worth, the playoff simulator on espn predicts a 55-45 Cleveland favorite in such a scenario, so basically a toss up.

It took them 11:57.8 to call a foul against Cleveland.

And that call was rather dubious. It's almost like they felt like they had to call at least 1 foul in the quarter.

As much as I would like fouls to be called, Rose blows by the Cavs so quickly and is so athletic that he doesn't draw contact. I'd rather fewer foul shots and more made jumpers, dunks, and layups.

Can you imagine a coach that would call for isolating Rose less than VDN? He always brings Noah to set a screen. It's insanity--there isn't anyone one the planet who can stay in front of Rose 1-on-1 consistently but Vinny always wants to bring a 2nd defender to him.

Reggie Miller needs to get off TV.

It's like he has a grudge against everyone. I think he is still ticked that Jordan did not let him get his hands on a championship.

Yeah, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It would make sense if Noah was a better jump shooter and it gave Rose another option with the pick and pop, but he isn't. When Rose's jump shot is going like it is tonight, there is no stopping him. Let him carry the team until he cools off.

Maybe the defenders switch and Noah gets the guard on him so you can dump the ball to him in the post.

Memo to NBA refs: Derrick Rose is a star. So that means when Shaq whacks him on a floater, you blow the damn whistle.

What is Reggie talking about? "Man Derrick Rose is fast!" Yeah that's really the only insight you give. "Move Noah to PF and pick up a center this offseason." Why, there really aren't any good centers out there.

I don't think Vinny has been that bad of a coach and has taken way too much criticism. I hope they really win this for all those who said they had no chance tonight (including the Chicago media!).

Joke foul calls against the Bulls.

Bulls are hanging around in the 4th...can't have that. God forbid the refs make LeBron beat us.

With the Bulls holding down LeBron, you think they would be up by more. Is this his lowest playoff scoring game ever?
