Sometimes we just get too fancy when the situation calls for just clearing the puck into the neutral zone as soon as possible.

I really haven't thought things have been that bad. Niemi's been tested a little more than I liked, but not that bad.

And yet I don't think we are playing all that badly. Couple of concern areas but I will say our passing has been crisp and we've done a decent job winning puck battles in the SJ zone.

 

SJ has definitely gotten the better chances thus far.
