he wants to remind people that the cardinals are winning (i.e. trolling)

I think the Cubs will be better then a lot of people expect. All I said was that I was watching the Cardinals game.

No what you did was ask how the Cubs are doing when you are obviously on the internet so you can obviously look up the score yourself or just read the last few pages of the game thread that you posted in.

I read the thread, saw the Cubs scored four runs and a few posts saying how it could have been 4-1 instead of 4-3, so I was confused. I apologize if it came off as trolling.

kelly shoppach broke it up with 2 outs in the 8th.

would've been interesting if he hadn't given up the hit, because otherwise he was looking at a 130 pitch outing in his second start of the regular season.

For a moment, I thought the OFer would have caught the ball. It may have been a stretch, but I think he could have caught it if he dove for it.

You know what pisses me off? The Cubs bullpen thus far costs them two wins yet, the collection of [expletive] that is the Cardinals bullpen hasn't affected them one bit. Ryan Franklin? Are you kidding me?

Motte gave up a walk off HR in their only loss

Ryan Franklin is now an ace closer, didn't you know that? Sub-2.00 ERA and 38 saves in 2009.

But yeah, Motte did give up the walk-off. It's the Cards' only loss and if they keep getting performances like today's from guys named Hy-May Garcia (Jaime, but that's how it's pronounced apparently, which makes me hate him 40 percent more) it may be their only one.
