Tennessee vs Michigan State in the Elite 8. It'll be a tough game, but I see no reason why UT can't win the game.

Tom Izzo. There's a reason.

Izzo's a great coach, but his team isn't unbeatable. I'm not even saying it's likely we win, I'm just saying after beating UK, Kansas and Ohio State so far this year, we're more than capable of beating a Michigan State team that isn't as good as any of those three teams.

I will: it's likely Tennessee wins.

I am in awe of how good Michigan State is. If there is a better coach in America than Izzo, I would like to see him

If Kansas State wins they have had an interesting run of not having to play a major conference team to get to the Final Four. I wonder if that's happened before?

It would have been nice if the great one had been able to get them to beat Minnesota in the Big Ten tournament.

Definitely the case, but seeing this makes me disregard the "major" conference stuff:

Per Ken Pomeroy, KSU has had the toughest run to the Elite 8. Of the remaining teams, only KSU has played (and will play) at least three teams in Ken Pom's top fifteen:

BYU: 10

Xavier: 15

Butler: 14

Should KSU win today, and Ken Pom gives them a 68% chance, they'll have had the toughest road to the Final Four out of ANY team in the tournament, regardless of the seeding.

The only other team with a comparable schedule according to Pomeroy? Butler.

Not sure if you were trying to "disregard" what KSU has done so far, but thought I'd throw it out there.

I wish I liked BB better. MSU's best success has been in BB, though the hockey team won NT a couple of years ago.

Oh, I didn't mean it as a knock to K-State in any means. I just thought it was interesting.

There isn't a better coach in college.

The person from Chicago who has been publicized for having a perfect bracket is no longer perfect. He picked Purdue to win it all.

Tired sure, but they're a deep team. Butler deserves a lot more credit than they're getting. Indy representing, they belong in the final 4.

Kansas State is just missing a ridiculous number of easy shots. It's not so much Butler playing good defense as K-state has been getting open looks, mostly down low. I will give Butler credit for covering Pullen like a blanket though.

Len Elmore's apparently blind as well. Good to know.

I'm not sure whether K-State is making themselves look bad or Butler is making them look bad. Probably both.

We're now guaranteed a team seeded No. 5 or lower in the title game (either No. 5 Butler, No. 5 Michigan State or No. 6 Tennessee) for the first time since 2002 when Indiana made it as a No. 5.
