27 out of 32 and have three sweet 16 teams gone. No elite 8 teams gone yet.

I'm also better then 99.8 percent of the people on ESPN's bracket. That's impressive I guess.

26-6 with Georgetown as my only Elite 8 out. Also have Marquette and Utah State (still not sure why I made this pick) out as Sweet 16 picks. Went 14-2 today, though, and am tied for first in my wife's office pool.

Tomorrow doesn't look that great in terms of matchups (by seed). The closest seeds that play tomorrow are 2 seed Kansas State and 7 seed BYU. Everyone else is strangely enough 8 seeds from each other.

In contrast, Sunday's games include two different 4-5 matchups and a 3-6.

Someone on another board pointed out that at least 1 team seeded everywhere between 1 and 14 made round 2. I wonder if that's ever happened before.

It happened in 2006, and 1-13 made it each of the last two years. My guess is any time you have a 14 win, you'll probably get 1-14 going through.

27 of 32 with all Sweet 16s and on left. I went 15-1 today (stupid Louisville)

Yeah, I'm usually horrible at brackets, so I'm enjoying the ride while it lasts. I can't believe almost all the upsets I picked while quickly filling out my bracket turned out to be right. Even the ones I lost on (like Florida) they had ample chances to win it.

There were no remarkable upsets today. Cornell over Temple was not that huge of a surprise as many people picked it. Sure, you gotta get lucky, but it's not like an Ohio over Georgetown type game occurred today.

It was mostly about the no sweet sixteens are out in his bracket.

I feel better about my bracket after reading some of this. Even though i'm only 22/32 I've only got 2 S16 teams out and 1 Elite 8. Not bad.

The current leader in my bracket pool has 30 of 32 correct, and all Sweet 16 teams left.

EDIT: Of course, Butler and Tennessee were his only non-chalk S16 picks, so who knows what'll happen this weekend.

Oh, and it's good to see nobody's giving Missouri a chance against West Virginia. I don't think they'll win, but if they can get WV playing at their pace, they have a good shot.

agreed. yesterday was the first time maybe all year where we played like last years team against a decent opponent. man that was fun to watch. great ball movement, great defense, good shooting (outside of three pointers). if they can just have a game where they shoot close to 45-50% from three point range, man they would be dangerous. lets hope it happens tomorrow. marcus denmon is really due for a breakout game, by the way.

I've had a pet peeve with CBS' weekend telecasts for years. I hate that they only have one game during the early slot on both Saturday and Sunday. There's no other game to switch to during halftime, and if the one game gets out of hand, too bad. They could definitely do a better job of evening things out. Saturday would be easy; two games during each of the four time slots. Sunday could be three games during two slots and two games during one slot.

More teams playing in primetime = more fans watching = more ratings. $$$

It seems to usually be a miss match also, like a 1 vs 8/9 or a 2 vs 7/10.

I've loathed my pick of Nova to the Final 4 ever since I made it, and they're showing why right now.

If Scottie Reynolds would start doing, well, anything, Villanova would be okay. But he's shooting something like 2-15 in the tournament so far.
